About Zurmat Material Testing Laboratories

It is the target of Zurmat Material Testing Laboratories to assist in the rebuilding of Afghanistan through the following objectives:-

To recognize and identify the financial rehabilitation of the country through a revaluation of its realistic industrial potential.
To evaluate and implement a realistic financial package for carefully planned assisted relief programmes for both cities and rural areas in line with scheduled rehabilitation, drawn up by donors.
To employ and train native Afghans to develop skills that will enable them to gain employment and support their families.
To elevate Afghan companies through domestic competitiveness to a level where they can legitimately compete with International competition in their own country.
To encourage domestic development through careful development and planning of infrastructure improvement.
To give Afghanistan a reliable domestic and industrial electricity supply.
A proper telephone system.
A clean water supply.
A proper drainage system.
The above can be achieved but only with careful control of donor funds.
To assist the government through a corporate programme of social and economic improvement, raise the standard of living for the populace.
To assist in the relocation and to encourage the return of Afghan refugees to their native rural and urban domains who after years of conflict became to dangerous to remain in.
To make available to its workforce the latest technology that will enable them to carry out their employment tasks to the maximum level while at the same time raising their skill level.
To eliminate corruption and illegal practices.
